Contests create “buzz” about your brand, products, and services. They encourage people to visit your website, and you can even use them to build your email list, all the while positively interacting with your customers.

A little customer appreciation never hurt anyone! It doesn’t take a lot of effort to pull together a small event with your customers. It could be something as simple as inviting them to the office for a small event or hosting a happy hour.

Why do it:

Plain and simple: it’s good to get out of the office and talk to people. A quick chat with a new person could result in a new idea, a new customer, a fresh perspective or even the connection of a lifetime. But you’ll never know if you don’t go!

How can you expect yourself to be on top of your game if you’re just a hamster on a wheel working non-stop on your business? You can’t. Sometimes you’ve just got to step back from the desk, step out of the office and recharge.

It’s important to take care of yourself and your health. Although it may seem counter-productive, taking some time off from work can actually increase productivity. You’ll come back refreshed and ready tackle anything that comes your way.
